WP1 (leader partner 1, UVEG) will be totally devoted to the complete and complex management of the different WPs and partners of the whole project
Work Package 2
WP2 (leader partner 2, UAB) will develop all the acquisition protocols for clinical, molecular and histological data and data storage structure of the web-based database. Of particular note in WP2 is the development of the necessary Agent Technology
Work Package 3
WP3 (leader partner 15, UPVLC) will incorporate the development of improved pattern recognition methodology for MRS data as well as develop totally new methods to determine how the patterns found in metabolomic data (MRS) may be related to transcript
Work Package 4
WP4 (leader partner 6, U594). We already have a database of MRS tumour data (INTERPRET) that we can use for preliminary specification of database features and to enable the development of new pattern recognition during the initial part of the project
Work Package 5
WP5 (leader partner 10, HG) is devoted to the clinical validation of the web-accessible DSS and GUI programs, which is crucial for the ultimate industrialization (WP8, leader partner 14, SCITO) that will enable the widespread clinical use of the DSS
Work Package 6
Quality control (WP6 leader partner 9, PQE) in the whole project is also a critical part of eTUMOUR and will be applied to all data acquisition, the software that is developed and the clinical demonstration of added value.
Work Package 7
WP7 (leader partner 7, MICROART) will disseminate the main results of eTUMOUR to create and maintain clinical, scientific, industrial and public awareness and interest in the DSS and GUI prototypes.
Work Package 8
WP8 (leader partner 14, SCITO) that will enable the widespread clinical use of the DSS as a non-invasive tool to aid in diagnosis and treatment strategies for brain tumours, which is the ultimate goal of the eTUMOUR project.
